33 x 66 One True Corner
I am very happy finally with this image, if you go to me current work section and click on this, you can see what a fight it has been for me to balance expanation and feeling. I am just going to “explain” the main big tree on the left and call it done.
The same with this. It took all of the front right chaos to balance the explanation of the structures on the left. I want the real theme of this to be the red hill. It is a pure cad orange with a glaze of alizarin crimson ovet the dry orange. I have one more glaze on the left side of the hill to sign this one too.
I felt the sky needed to be a greater influence to provide a distance to the piece. I added another layer there and plan to add to the feel of the water tomorrow
This is a new start. 45 x 36. My plan was to try to get away with even less explanation on this one. I entend to start with a version of this study (below)
