I am 30 minutes away from finishing Burnt Creek
1) new alizarin crimson glaze over cad orange on the left side top
2) darkening the forward leaning wishbone branch
3) I am trying to reclaim some of the visual harmonics from earlier versions
Burnt Creek, 48 x 36 inches
detail of one corner
A bit farther away for where the harmonics could be shown
The entirety of One True Corner, 33 x 66 inches
I still have another day of explaining and some added feeling. I think first I must explode onto the bottom 1/3 of the piece to soften the left side and build the right side up with large strokes and richer value. Also, the school bus yellow field on the right and a few other places need the continued suggestion of a horse fience.
